นิทรรศการนี้จัดแสดงประติมากรรมเชิงวิชาการ (academic) โดยศิลปินจากสามรุ่น ได้แก่ ศาสตราจารย์ศิลป์ พีระศรี วัชระ ประยูรคำ และวายุพัด รัตนเพชร

การขยายขอบเขตและวิวัฒนาการทางประติมากรรมตามฐานคิดของศาสตราจารย์ศิลป์ พีระศรี ส่งอิทธิพลอย่างเด่นชัดต่อแนวทางการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานของศิลปินร่วมสมัยอย่าง วัชระ ประยูรคำ และ วายุพัด รัตนเพชร โดยทำหน้าที่เป็นเสมือนแกนกลางเชิงทฤษฎีและเทคนิควิชาการที่ศิลปินทั้งสองนำมาตีความใหม่เพื่อตอบสนองต่อบริบทสังคมและศิลปะที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไป 

ภายในงานจะได้พบกับผลงานโดยศาสตราจารย์ศิลป์ พีระศรีที่หาชมได้ยากหลายร้อยชิ้นจากยุคก่อนเดินทางมารับราชการประเทศไทย และผลงานชุดใหม่ของประติมากรไทยที่มีชื่อเสียงในยุคปัจจุบันทั้งสองท่าน

The development and evolution of Thai sculpture under the philosophy and legacy of Professor Silpa Bhirasri have significantly influenced the creative approaches of contemporary artists Watchara Prayoonkum and Vayupad Ruttanapet. His teachings have provided a central theoretical and technical framework that the two artists reinterpret in response to changing social and artistic contexts.

The exhibition features hundreds of rare works by Professor Silpa Bhirasri from the period before he began his work in Thailand, as well as new works by two renowned contemporary Thai sculptors.
